About the role

  • Respond to and resolve incidents related to disk subsystems, storage systems, SAN switches and associated assets, and any components that make up the Mainframe infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
  • Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience administering and configuring backup solutions such as NetWorker, IBM Spectrum Protect, and Mainframe storage systems.
  • Management of SMS, GRS, VSAM environments and disk controllers.
  • Knowledge of the Data Domain System Manager storage solution.
  • Knowledge of PPDM (PowerProtect Data Manager) backup solution.
  • Knowledge of the Dell DPA (Data Protection Advisor) reporting solution.
  • Knowledge of the IBM Spectrum Protect Operations Center.
