About the role
- Plan and execute Sonatype’s presence at regional events
- Coordinate logistics including booth setup, vendors, shipping, swag, and on-site execution
- Support creative event experiences (games, activations, demos)
- Manage timelines, budgets, and project plans for events
- Partner with sales to ensure strong pre-event outreach and post-event follow-up
- Support post-event follow-up coordination to maximize pipeline conversion
- Track key event metrics such as leads captured and meetings booked onsite
- Assist in building post-event recap reports with insights and recommendations
- Work with marketing ops to ensure accurate lead tracking and campaign attribution in Salesforce
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement, conversion rates, and overall event impact
- Support pre-event promotion through social media
- Execute live event coverage (e.g., posting from the floor, highlighting booth activity, sharing key moments)
- Draft and schedule posts across platforms such as LinkedIn and X (Twitter)
- Capture and coordinate event content (photos, short videos, highlights) for real-time and post-event use
- Maintain event documentation, run-of-show plans, and checklists
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and event touchpoints
- Track inventory and manage marketing assets and swag
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, events, or field marketing
- Experience supporting trade shows, conferences, or corporate events
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel (~20–30%)
