About the role

  • Work with site stakeholders to identify priorities, needs, issues, areas for improvement, smarter alternatives, and cost-effective innovation opportunities
  • Lead the Spend Review Challenges (SRC) at the site, implement savings initiatives, and support site operations while monitoring and executing global/regional category strategies
  • Source, negotiate, and manage (or leverage) local and regional contracts within scope, in alignment with the defined category strategy where applicable
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, ethical standards, and company policies, including strict governance, appropriate purchasing channels by all stakeholders, and adherence to safety standards
  • Manage supplier performance, including safety (based on internal stakeholder monitoring), and proactively address escalated issues

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Industrial experience (at least 2–3 years at an industrial production site)
  • Procurement experience (6–8+ years)
  • Negotiation skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Technical background in production plant operations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
