About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and manage the quality assurance and control processes for all PV EPC projects in the assigned region.
- Ensure all projects meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of ongoing and completed projects.
- Manage quality control processes: Oversee testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials used in PV projects.
- Provide training and support to project teams on quality assurance practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to address quality-related issues.
- Maintain detailed records of quality inspections and prepare reports for management and clients.
- Conduct formal audits on documentation compliance, reporting methods, installation processes, and material handling.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis when needed and create, implement and monitor formal CAPAs based on results.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
- Quality management certifications such as ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, OSHA 10, 30, Journeyman, etc. are all highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction and electrical safety.
- Experience with construction drawings and installation procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in quality management software and tools.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
