About the role
- Support the jobsite team, coordinate and manage project deliverables to achieve project profitability and schedule goals.
- Attend and document project meetings (write minutes).
- Set up and maintain project filing system.
- Update and maintain all sets of drawings, specifications and logs.
- Distribute all documents to subcontractors, maintain document logs.
- Assist with preparation of CPM schedules.
- Evaluate field problems and document RFI’s.
Requirements
- Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or completion of Construction Management Certificate Program, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years as Project Engineer.
- Field experience desirable – e.g. carpenter.
- Basic estimating and scheduling skills.
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
- Effective written and verbal English language communication skills.
- Ability to use independent judgment; self-starting.
- Drafting and computer skills desirable.
