About the role

  • Oversees QA/QC processes for PV EPC projects in the assigned region
  • Ensures projects meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations and company standards
  • Primarily office-based but visits project sites in the Midwest to train field teams and perform audits/First Article Inspections
  • Must travel to meet with clients, suppliers, and regulatory agencies; attends seminars and meetings as needed
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Manage QA/QC processes, including testing, inspection, and evaluation of materials and systems
  • Train and support project teams on SOLV Energy’s SOPs and reference guides
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and clients on quality-related issues
  • Maintain documentation of inspections, audits, CAPAs, and corrective actions
  • Conduct Root Cause Analyses using 5-Why or 8D methods; implement formal CAPAs
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance quality and efficiency

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in quality management
  • Certifications: ASQ Certified Auditor, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or PMP highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, OSHA 10, 30, Journeyman, etc. highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of electrical construction and electrical safety
  • Experience with construction drawings and installation procedures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in quality management software and tools
  • Ability to work as part of a team
