About the role
- Perform field maintenance of solar equipment
- Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling
- Service solar equipment in multiple solar plants under supervision
- Perform basic solar equipment testing, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks under supervision
- Replace or repair solar parts and/or equipment under supervision
- Respond “on-call” as directed by supervisor for emergency equipment repairs
- Prepare accurate documentation and required reports of work performed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to work in a mechanical/electrical environment
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to identify and perform Lock Out/Tag Out
- Basic understanding of solar installation/plant
- Basic knowledge of testing equipment
- Basic computer operation skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record
