About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to support our teams in gathering, analyzing and prioritizing business needs related to decision-support tools, dashboards and statistical reports.
- The successful candidate will collaborate with various internal stakeholders (managers, analysts, leadership) to translate business needs into concrete, optimized BI solutions.
- Gather, document and prioritize BI business requirements from a variety of stakeholders (managers, analysts, leadership).
- Analyze requirements and design or optimize statistical reports and dashboards.
- Contribute to work related to data warehouses, analytical models and ETL/ELT processes.
- Ensure rigorous use of BI tools (Power BI or equivalent) in accordance with information governance principles.
- Ensure compliance with privacy protection standards applicable to the Quebec public/parapublic sector.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in IT, management information systems, business administration, statistics, mathematics or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, BI business analysis or management information, including requirements analysis and the design/optimization of statistical reports or dashboards.
- Minimum 3 years of experience gathering, documenting and prioritizing BI business requirements from diverse stakeholder groups.
- Contributed to at least one engagement of at least 6 months in a BI environment (data warehouses, analytical models, ETL/ELT), using a tool such as Power BI or equivalent.
- Completed at least one assignment as a BI analyst in the Quebec public/parapublic sector, applying information governance principles and privacy protections comparable to those of Revenu Québec.
