Construction Manager, Data Center Development

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as Soluna's owner's representative on active data center construction sites
- Own construction schedules across all active sites
- Manage general contractors, specialty subcontractors, and commissioning agents
- Conduct regular site walks and field reviews
- Coordinate permitting, inspections, and AHJ approvals
- Partner with GM, Data Center Development and design teams
- Manage RFI and submittal workflows
- Track construction costs against approved budgets
- Support commissioning planning and execution
- Maintain thorough project documentation
- Manage site safety programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of construction management experience on mission-critical or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Direct experience managing general contractors and specialty subcontractors on projects in excess of $50M
- Deep working knowledge of data center MEP systems
- Hands-on experience coordinating utility interconnection and commissioning activities
- Demonstrated fluency with construction scheduling tools
- Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, architectural, and MEP construction documents
- Proven track record managing construction budgets, reviewing pay applications
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards
- Willingness to travel up to 75%
