About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Holistic responsibility for a defined area at the Seelze site and, as needed, support for other locations.
  • Advising and supporting managers on all personnel-related matters — both in operational day-to-day issues and on strategic topics.
  • Close collaboration with management and understanding of business requirements and their impact on HR processes and people strategies.
  • Support in workforce planning, resource planning and organizational development.
  • Collaboration with the recruiting team in carrying out recruitment activities, candidate selection and decision-making.
  • Ensuring compliance with and the continuous development of HR processes, standards and policies, as well as implementing global corporate requirements.
  • Participation in and independent leadership of local and cross-site HR projects and change initiatives.
  • Analysis and preparation of relevant HR metrics and the use of modern HR systems and digital HR tools.
  • Trustful and constructive cooperation with the works council, including independently preparing and conducting negotiations at site level.
  • Responsibility for the performance management process as well as advising and coaching managers in talent management, organizational development and succession planning.
  • Active support of change processes and continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in business, law or social sciences with a focus on HR, or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least eight years of professional experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in an international company or corporate group with a matrix organization.
  • Solid knowledge of German labor and works council law and several years of experience collaborating with works councils.
  • Analytical mindset and a structured, process-oriented way of working.
  • Experience in change management and enthusiasm for actively shaping change.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills, initiative and a confident professional presence.
  • High level of personal responsibility, assertiveness and a pronounced hands-on mentality.
  • Team-oriented and solution-focused working style.
  • Very good MS Office skills and experience with modern HR information systems.
  • Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
