About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take technical inquiries from various inputs and provide accurate technical responses
  • Maintain a database to accurately log the nature and source of inquiries
  • Convert technical inquiries into sales leads where applicable
  • Own every aspect of the required support in this segment
  • Understand field requirements, refrigerant options, and retrofit procedures for various manufacturers offerings
  • Handle SFDC inquiries and phone calls
  • Back up aftermarket sales
  • Handle quality complaints
  • Present Solstice options to industry trade shows
  • Support retrofits
  • Support field trials
  • Perform site surveys, compose reports, and testimonials
  • Support technical literature creation
  • Support new product introductions
  • Provide assistance to R&D and relay field practices
  • Own cylinder fleet information and maintain customer facing cylinder manuals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of refrigerant properties, chiller operations and design
  • Associate's degree in engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of technical support or field support experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present to industry groups
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to visit commercial and industrial sites
