About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage global operations for Cloud, Datacenter, Compute/Storage, Networking and Database teams
  • Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of foundational infrastructure
  • Drive the organization's infrastructure strategies, programs, and operational methodology
  • Mentor Solstice IT professionals and foster growth, development, and innovation within the organization
  • Define and execute the vision, strategy, and direction for cloud, network, compute/storage, and database functions
  • Lead the design, implementation, and operations of datacenter and cloud environments
  • Establish and enforce governance and change control processes
  • Oversee infrastructure lifecycle management
  • Develop talent and workforce strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive IT datacenter and cloud technology management experience
  • 8+ years of progressive IT leadership roles, including people management.
  • 5+ years of strategic vendor relationship management
  • Excellent knowledge of traditional datacenter and Azure cloud services.
  • Knowledge of datacenter consolidation and experience in migration to cloud.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management.
  • Experience managing and planning a complex operating budget
  • Ability to travel up 20% of time on average
