About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop robust commodity strategies for the Indirect Category Strategy Team
Partner with Buying Operations Team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of category strategy creation and execution
Consolidate fragmented global spend and reduce the use of non-strategic suppliers
Execute the annual operating plan through year-over-year improvements in productivity, working capital, quality, delivery and supply continuity
Negotiate and execute supply agreements with strategic suppliers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 3 years of relevant strategic sourcing experience
Minimum of 4 years in an indirect procurement function at a multinational corporation with global contracts
Experience in best-in-class procurement practices (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.)
Bachelor's degree
Negotiation skills with proven experience in setting negotiation strategies and conducting negotiations
Knowledge of the basic types of commercial agreement structures and the function and purpose of key legal terms
Ability to deliver against targets for financial performance business impact
Experience assessing risk and concisely explaining complex issues to principal business owners
Experience working in a large, global, highly matrixed organization
Due to compliance with U. S export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in U.S.
