About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate the full budgeting cycle — annual budget (top-down and bottom-up), rolling forecasts and monthly reforecasts — using a driver-based planning approach for operations in Brazil, the USA and Colombia.
  • Build and maintain three-statement models, sensitivity scenarios, and unit economics models to support C-level, Board and investor decision-making. Develop business cases for new initiatives and support capital allocation analyses.
  • Monitor and analyze ARR, MRR, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), churn, LTV/CAC, revenue cohorts and pipeline — focusing on revenue quality analysis and metrics such as Rule of 40. Ensure the CFO and the Board have predictive visibility, not just retrospective reporting.
  • Lead variance analysis (budget vs. actual) with a MECE approach — constructing revenue bridges, EBITDA bridges and waterfall analyses that identify root causes and propose actionable countermeasures.
  • Produce management reports, board packs and investor materials with analytical rigor and visual clarity. Support preparation of data rooms and supporting materials for fundraising or due diligence processes when required.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the business areas (Commercial, Product, Operations), translating financial data into actionable insights and supporting decisions with scenario analysis and ad-hoc modeling.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities across the FP&A cycle — from data ETL to automated report generation — leveraging the company’s ecosystem tools (programming, BI, generative AI, RPA).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Controllership or Financial Planning, preferably in technology, SaaS or agribusiness companies.
  • Strong financial modeling skills — three-statement models, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and unit economics.
  • Ability to build bridge analyses (revenue bridge, EBITDA bridge) and variance waterfalls with a clear narrative.
  • Advanced Excel skills plus experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar) for building analytical dashboards.
  • Experience with the complete budget & forecast cycle — not only execution, but coordination, driver-based planning and rolling forecasts.
  • Knowledge of SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, NRR, churn, LTV, CAC, Rule of 40) or a strong willingness to learn them quickly.
  • Advanced English — ability to read reports and board packs and interact with international teams.
  • Familiarity with AI applied to finance — generative AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot), autonomous agents or AI tools.
