About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build dispute management systems. Design services that collect dispute data from payment systems and transform it into actionable insights for merchants.
- Integrate with global payment leaders. Work with providers like Stripe, Adyen, and PayPal.
- Build scalable financial infrastructure. Contribute to systems powering invoicing, billing, reconciliation, and other financial operations.
- Launch new payment products. Help deliver solutions in partnership with Visa, Mastercard, and AMEX.
- Develop the Representment product. Create APIs and interfaces for merchants to upload dispute evidence and submit it directly to payment schemes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong ownership and clear tech POV (you’ve mastered one backend language and are ready for a new challenge)
- You ship production-ready systems, not just features.
- Strong grasp of high-load system design
- Confident with testing (unit/integration/e2e).
- Comfortable with distributed systems principles.
- Previous exposure to Golang
- Experience with Kafka Streams, SQS, S3, Redshift
- Background in Fintech, especially in payments, billing, or financial processing
- Familiarity with AWS and modern CI/CD
