People Operations Specialist
[solidcore]People Operations Specialist supporting full employee lifecycle - onboarding, offboarding, compliance at solidcore. Join a growing People Operations team at a rapidly growing fitness studio organization.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support a seamless onboarding and offboarding experience for HQ (corporate) and Field employees, including background checks, I-9 compliance, systems access, documentation, and Workday data management
- Assist with employee changes including promotions, compensation updates, transfers, and any assigned business process.
- Support new hire orientation and contribute to onboarding program improvements to ensure a high-quality experience for HQ (corporate) and Field employees
- Assist with employment documentation management including offer letters, employment agreements, and other onboarding documents.
- Partner with the Sr. People Manager to support alignment and operational execution across key initiatives
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready employee records and documentation to support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Maintain accurate employee records and data integrity across HR systems including Workday and external systems such as Mind Body Online (MBO)
- Help maintain Workday Help Articles and SOPs to support enablement and clarity across HQ (corporate) and Field teams
- Serve as a point of contact for HR related inquiries via email and Workday Help Cases.
- Manage Workday transactions for employee lifecycle.
- Support benefits enrollment and life event questions in partnership with Total Rewards
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Payroll, IT, and other cross-functional teams as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-3 years of experience in People Operations or HR Operations
- Workday experience required
- Experience supporting moderate to high-volume hiring environments
- Working knowledge of HR compliance and documentation standards
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Comfort working in HR systems to maintain employee records, document cases, track actions, and pull reports
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office, including Excel for tracking and reporting
- HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) a plus
