About the role

  • Handle inbound customer contacts via phone, chat, or email, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Resolve customer issues, including order inquiries, returns, refunds, and account management, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze customer concerns and find the best solutions in line with Amazon's policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about Amazon's products, services, and promotions to assist customers effectively.
  • Identify and escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and follow up as needed to ensure complete resolution.
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer satisfaction scores, response times, and resolution rates.
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve customer service processes and enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in a remote or call center environment.
  • Proficient with computers, including familiarity with web-based tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service and the ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Capable of working independently, managing time effectively, and meeting deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
