About the role
- Handle inbound customer contacts via phone, chat, or email, providing timely and accurate information.
- Resolve customer issues, including order inquiries, returns, refunds, and account management, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Analyze customer concerns and find the best solutions in line with Amazon's policies and procedures.
- Stay informed about Amazon's products, services, and promotions to assist customers effectively.
- Identify and escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary.
- Accurately document customer interactions and follow up as needed to ensure complete resolution.
- Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer satisfaction scores, response times, and resolution rates.
- Provide feedback and insights to improve customer service processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in a remote or call center environment.
- Proficient with computers, including familiarity with web-based tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and resolve customer issues efficiently.
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service and the ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Capable of working independently, managing time effectively, and meeting deadlines in a remote setting.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
