About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conducting basic lab testing, equipment installation and maintenance, chemical transfers, and process monitoring at customer sites.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, documenting results, supporting customer operations, and working safely in an industrial environment.
- Performing routine testing and monitoring at customer sites, including data entry and contributing to service report preparation.
- Interfacing directly with customers to identify and address issues related to chemical programs or equipment performance.
- Managing product inventory, including deliveries to process units and offloading chemicals into customer storage tanks.
- Adjusting chemical feed rates based on routine testing and monitoring to ensure optimal treatment performance.
- Alerting site managers or support engineers to customer issues, operational concerns, or opportunities for improvement and assist with troubleshooting efforts.
- Conducting expanded process testing to identify dosage optimization opportunities or mechanical impacts affecting performance.
- Installing, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting monitoring and feed equipment.
- Partnering with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance and customer satisfaction.
- Performing mechanical and electrical equipment repairs as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment.
- Chemical handling, water treatment, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally throughout the Akron/Massillon territory.
