About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the sales and service efforts in the Houston/Freeport, TX areas
  • Conduct water sampling and basic lab tests, maintenance and installation of equipment, chemical transfers and process monitoring
  • Keep detailed records of inventory, report out results, and work safely
  • Perform routine testing and monitoring at the customer site including data entry and contribute to service report preparation
  • Interface with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment
  • Manage product inventory at the customer including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks
  • Adjust chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring
  • Alert the site manager or support engineer of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begin to troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts
  • Spec out, set up, maintain and troubleshoot monitoring and feed equipment
  • Work with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance
  • Complete mechanical and electrical equipment repairs including pump changes and calibration of automation equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years experience working on mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment.
  • Chemical handling experience desired but not required.
