About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the sales and service efforts in the Houston/Freeport, TX areas
Conduct water sampling and basic lab tests, maintenance and installation of equipment, chemical transfers and process monitoring
Keep detailed records of inventory, report out results, and work safely
Perform routine testing and monitoring at the customer site including data entry and contribute to service report preparation
Interface with the customer to understand any issues with chemicals or equipment
Manage product inventory at the customer including deliveries to process units and offloading to customer tanks
Adjust chemical feed levels to meet optimal chemical performance based on routine testing and monitoring
Alert the site manager or support engineer of any problems or opportunities with the customer and begin to troubleshoot issues
Conduct expanded testing of process variables to identify dosage improvements or mechanical impacts
Spec out, set up, maintain and troubleshoot monitoring and feed equipment
Work with the site team and customers to ensure optimal program performance
Complete mechanical and electrical equipment repairs including pump changes and calibration of automation equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years experience working on mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment.
Chemical handling experience desired but not required.
