About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute regional growth strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across mining
  • Expand footprint through key-account development and new-client acquisition
  • Build strong relationships with mining operators, EPCs and senior decision-makers
  • Achieve annual revenue and profitability targets (AOP)
  • Drive solution-based selling and develop compelling value propositions
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing and commercial agreements
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity and pricing trends
  • Work with technical teams to deliver tailored process solutions
  • Support customers with audits, troubleshooting and performance optimisation
  • Promote innovative technologies that improve efficiency and reduce operating costs
  • Adhere to all company EHS policies and regulatory requirements
  • Promote a strong safety culture across customer sites and internal operations
  • Ensure compliance with environmental standards and sustainable mining practices
  • Engage effectively with internal teams, customers and partners across multiple countries
  • Deliver professional presentations and technical-commercial proposals
  • Report regularly on sales performance, pipeline and market developments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing or related field
  • 5–7+ years in mining, mineral processing or related industrial sectors
  • Proven track record in business development or technical sales
  • Strong understanding of mineral-processing operations (crushing, grinding, flotation, hydrometallurgy, water management, tailings)
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Technical understanding of mining processes and chemical/reagent applications
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Ability to work across diverse cultures (Kazakhstan & CIS experience highly desirable)
