About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the full lifecycle of municipal bids, RFQs, RFPs, and contract renewals for water and wastewater chemicals
- Evaluate bid requirements, specifications, and commercial terms to determine bid viability and risk
- Develop bid schedules and ensure all submissions meet municipal deadlines and compliance standards
- Prepare complete, accurate, and competitive bid packages, including pricing, technical documentation, and contractual responses
- Partner with Pricing and Finance to develop competitive and profitable pricing models
- Coordinate inputs from Sales, Technical Service, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Legal, and Operations
- Ensure bids comply with municipal procurement rules, contract language, and regulatory requirements
- Track awarded contracts, pricing structures, escalation clauses, and renewal timelines
- Monitor municipal bidding trends, competitor activity, and market conditions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- 3–5+ years of experience managing bids, proposals, or contracts—preferably in municipal, water/wastewater, or industrial chemicals
- Strong understanding of municipal procurement processes and public-sector bidding
- Proven ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with CRM and bid management systems preferred
