About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the full lifecycle of municipal bids, RFQs, RFPs, and contract renewals for water and wastewater chemicals
Evaluate bid requirements, specifications, and commercial terms to determine bid viability and risk
Develop bid schedules and ensure all submissions meet municipal deadlines and compliance standards
Prepare complete, accurate, and competitive bid packages, including pricing, technical documentation, and contractual responses
Partner with Pricing and Finance to develop competitive and profitable pricing models
Coordinate inputs from Sales, Technical Service, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Legal, and Operations
Ensure bids comply with municipal procurement rules, contract language, and regulatory requirements
Track awarded contracts, pricing structures, escalation clauses, and renewal timelines
Monitor municipal bidding trends, competitor activity, and market conditions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
3–5+ years of experience managing bids, proposals, or contracts—preferably in municipal, water/wastewater, or industrial chemicals
Strong understanding of municipal procurement processes and public-sector bidding
Proven ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines
High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
Proficiency in Excel; experience with CRM and bid management systems preferred
