About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and grow a portfolio of municipal water and wastewater accounts through direct and indirect selling models.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with Solenis growth objectives.
- Identify new municipal opportunities through bidding processes, renewals, and competitive conversions.
- Support and influence municipal chemical bids in partnership with Bid Management, Pricing, and Technical teams.
- Build, develop, and manage relationships with distributors, agents, and channel partners.
- Drive channel performance through joint sales planning, training, and opportunity development.
- Serve as the primary commercial contact for municipal stakeholders, including operators, engineers, purchasing personnel, and decision-makers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7+ years of sales experience, preferably in municipal water/wastewater , industrial chemicals , or technical solutions selling .
- Demonstrated success selling through indirect channels or distributors.
- Strong understanding of municipal procurement and public‑sector selling.
- Excellent relationship‑building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
