Manage distributor relationships within the assigned region to include contract, pricing and portal management, sales training and business development events (trade shows, customer events, etc.), acting as a liaison between the regions field sales team and the distributor sales teams, executive level relationship management to include quarterly business reviews, joint business planning and other similar activities.
Work with and support the Territory Sales Managers within the region to ensure a strong alignment between the Diversey field sales teams and the sales teams of the key distributors in the region.
Track and report on distributor performance, growth and other metrics, utilizing sales reporting tools such as Salesforce.com and other tools as necessary.
Develop and grow new distributors in the region as business necessity warrants to expand Diversey’s reach and footprint in the assigned region.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience
Prior experience managing distribution relationships at a high level
Willing to travel within the multi-state region approximately 50% of the time, including overnight travel
