About the role
- Responsible for ensuring product and process quality while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure product quality and compliance
- Lead supplier and internal audits, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and industry standards
- Oversee and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Develop and monitor quality KPIs to track supplier and product quality performance
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive action plans for quality issues
- Drive Operational Excellence across the supply chain and manufacturing processes
- Apply Lean / Kaizen methodologies to optimize supply chain processes
- Develop partnerships & projects collaborations
- Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and European partners
- Contribute to cross-functional quality and process improvement projects
Requirements
- 5-10 years proven experience in quality management (preferably in chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or food industries)
- Solid background in supplier quality management and finished product quality assurance
- Experience in ISO 9001, with a deep understanding of audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in KPI development, monitoring and control
- Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Ability to influence and get buy-in from internal teams and external stakeholders
- Experience in operational methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate with supply chain teams
- Strong analytical skills, rigor, and a mindset for incremental improvement and change
- Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) are mandatory.
- Openness to travel within Europe
