About the role

  • Responsible for new customer acquisition across various routes-to-market (RTMs)
  • Managing and nurturing existing accounts
  • Supporting the Unilever lead on category, digital and trade marketing for the Consumer Brands assortment within Germany
  • Responsible for driving profitable sales growth of Unilever’s professional portfolio — household care, fabric care and personal care — within the Diversey national organization
  • Leveraging well-known local Unilever consumer brands in the professional market and creating customer value through solutions that best meet our specific (end) customers’ needs
  • Driving sales and identifying new RTMs and distribution partners for the Unilever business, as well as expanding existing customer relationships
  • Acquiring new customers and managing existing accounts through the development and implementation of strategic plans including revenue and profit targets
  • Managing and negotiating commercial terms and monitoring existing contracts
  • Working closely with regional account managers and key account managers to convert funnel opportunities into sales
  • Implementing the central strategy and developing the business to increase market penetration of professional Unilever products in B2B markets across countries; understanding where we operate locally — which sectors, which target groups and which routes-to-market — what we want to achieve and with which brands, portfolios and NPIs (new product introductions)

Requirements

  • Strong sales profile including proven negotiation and contract-closing skills
  • Minimum 6–7 years of solid sales experience in the commercial/trade sector
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Project management capabilities
  • Ability to analyze data and derive customer insights across all channels/routes-to-market
  • Understanding of (trade) marketing activities/techniques to grow the business
  • Team player; able to work and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Fluent in English
  • University degree in Marketing & Sales, Business Administration, or a related field
