About the role
- Daily guidance, inspiration and support for the sales team
- Set individual and team sales targets, track progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies to achieve company objectives
- Provide continuous professional development for team members; organize sales training (including external methodology coaches where applicable)
- Monitor sales performance, identify trends and support data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate with marketing, product and other teams to align strategies and achieve common goals
- Recruit and onboard new sales representatives
- Build and manage your own high-profile accounts
- Negotiate and close contracts (supporting the team)
- Support preparation for trade shows and webinars
Requirements
- Confident presence and enjoyment of relationship-building/networking
- Experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and cloud computing
- Alternatively or additionally: background in the energy sector
- Professional experience with direct customer contact, preferably advising utilities, municipal utilities and energy service providers
- Proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, etc.) as well as MS Word & Excel
- Degree in Business Administration (BWL) or Engineering
- International work experience is a strong plus
