About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the end-to-end product process — discovery with business stakeholders and validation with end users
- Manage a single, visible backlog; write acceptance criteria and prioritize by value together with the Head of Technology
- Manage developers on a day-to-day basis, including 1:1s, performance tracking, delivery accountability and removal of impediments
- Conduct hiring processes for the growing team starting from the first month
- Work hands-on in development by implementing features, fixing bugs and reviewing Pull Requests in TypeScript/React
- Support the platform infrastructure, including CI/CD, environments and observability, together with the engineering team
- Run ceremonies, flow and product metrics, and monthly executive reporting
- Plan and execute the app launch, including rollout strategy, customer communication and preparation of support teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Development or other Engineering disciplines
- Practical knowledge of product management: discovery, backlog management, acceptance criteria and value-based prioritization
- Experience in direct management of developers and removal of impediments
- Hands-on development experience with TypeScript/React and critical review of Pull Requests
- Experience with flow metrics, executive reporting and product indicators post-launch
- Knowledge of React Native/Expo and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with CI/CD and observability
- Experience structuring technology operations in scale-ups or software houses
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technology with a hybrid product and engineering background
- Experience managing 3 to 10 developers
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Linear or similar tools
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub
- Proficiency with AI tools such as Claude, GPT or similar
