About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist with external audit and financial reporting activities, including compiling audit support, performing financial statement tie-outs, and updating financial statement footnotes.
Prepare reconciliations and roll-forwards for assigned income statement and balance sheet accounts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and related journal entries, investigating reconciling items and ensuring cash activity is accurately recorded in the general ledger.
Maintain rooftop rent schedules by onboarding new projects, updating lease terms, rent escalations, amendments, and ensuring lease records remain accurate and current.
Prepare and maintain forecasts of lease payment obligations by analyzing executed lease agreements, anticipated project in-service dates, and contractual payment terms to support budgeting and cash flow planning.
Support lease administration, financial forecasting, account reconciliations, and financial reporting for Solar Landscape’s growing project pipeline while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year college or university.
3+ years of accounting experience.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to be a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is preferred.
CPA is a plus.
