About the role

  • Prepare CPM scheduling activities and develop appropriate logic relationships and activity durations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and templates using Microsoft Project.
  • Analyze project progress and proactively identify schedule risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Own and develop end-to-end scheduling logic on CRM platform.
  • Collaborate with operations teams, field staff, and trade partners to gather input and validate schedule logic.
  • Support preconstruction planning and baseline schedule development.
  • Produce regular schedule updates, look-ahead reports, and delay analyses.
  • Assist with resource loading, milestone tracking, and earned value reporting.
  • Participating in project meetings, offering insights into sequencing and milestone tracking.

Requirements

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to develop, manage, and maintain construction schedules for multiple solar projects, ensuring alignment with project milestones, resource availability, and construction deadlines.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or Construction Management or equivalent technical training in construction management is preferred
  • Experience: 2+ years of scheduling experience in commercial construction with preference for Renewable Energy or Solar System
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with construction teams, subcontractors, project managers, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure scheduling accuracy and updates.
  • Technical Skills: Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM Software.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in managing multiple project schedules, ensuring data accuracy, milestone tracking, and proactive identification of potential delays or conflicts.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Skilled at resolving scheduling challenges quickly and efficiently, using real-time data and collaboration with Project Management to adjust plans and minimize downtime.
  • Teamwork: Capacity to work collaboratively with operations teams and other departments.
  • Analytical Skills: Capable of analyzing schedule data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization across the solar project portfolio.
  • 5-10% of travel required.
