About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop diagnostic, descriptive, predictive and prescriptive models and analyses using statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to support data-driven decision making
Continuously improve existing models
Build complex statistical models for specific business problems, aiming to increase automatic approvals for very low-risk cases
Deliver model projects with high quality and speed, meeting the demands and specific requirements of each segment
Stay up to date with new practices in data science
Apply statistical sampling and modeling techniques to identify business improvement opportunities
Apply clustering techniques to identify customer profiles

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry or related fields
Knowledge of data science algorithms and proficiency coding in Python
Familiarity with version control and code review tools such as GitHub and GitLab
Knowledge of monitoring models in production
Knowledge of experimentation methodologies, such as A/B testing
Experience creating data products
Experience handling large datasets and tools such as Spark and Dask
Knowledge of SQL and data science toolkits such as scikit-learn, pandas and notebooks
Knowledge of predictive modeling
Postgraduate degree in data science–related fields is a plus
Experience deploying models to production and testing methodologies for data products is a plus
Experience developing products and working with machine learning orchestration frameworks such as Kubeflow, Airflow and MLflow is a plus
