About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan and monitor Data Science projects, ensuring deliverables are aligned with the company's strategy;
Support the team by ensuring availability of technological resources, promoting good development standards, and maintaining continuity of existing projects;
Define and enforce Advanced Analytics standards and best practices;
Work closely with business areas to understand problems, propose solutions, and support process improvements;
Create and track schedules, aligning activities, owners, and involved areas;
Ensure that project information and tasks flow in an integrated manner;
Continuously monitor the team, identifying potential obstacles and helping to unblock deliveries;
Regularly communicate project progress and results to the Head of Data Science;
Ensure that Data Science projects and practices comply with data protection regulations, especially the LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields;
Experience executing Data Science, Machine Learning or Analytics projects, as well as leadership in implementing data products;
Experience with relational and non-relational databases; Big Data; Data Visualization; data science algorithms; descriptive, predictive and prescriptive modeling;
Postgraduate degree in Data Science or related areas;
Proficiency with deep learning models and frameworks and with machine learning orchestration tools.
