About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the 2D graphics development within the Americas Visual Merchandising team, reporting to the Senior Art Director, Global Visual Merchandising.
- Develop and adapt visual merchandising artwork for Americas retail environments (e.g. Sephora, Ulta), ensuring all executions align with global brand guidelines.
- Translate Global Guidelines to regional adaptations, creating artwork for retailer fixture variations, and print production, while collaborating closely with Global VM and regional partners to consistently elevate our in-store presence.
- Ensure brand design standards are upheld and style guide is adhered to.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 3 years of experience working in a VM 2D design or related creative role (mid to senior level designers will be considered)
- Beauty background strongly preferred with experience partnering with Americas retailers, including Sephora, Ulta.
- BA/BFA degree in Graphic Design or Environmental Design preferred or commensurate work experience in 2D design for visual merchandising, visual display, experience design, or related areas considered
- Strong portfolio, strong print design and print production background, particularly in large formats
- Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Experience with 3D software (Rhino, Keyshot, SketchUp) a plus but not required
- Strong understanding of composition and layout principles and messaging hierarchies
- Understanding of retailer and vendor specifications, technical drawings and planograms
- Strong time management skills, able to juggle multiple projects and priorities, manage project timelines (with help from team PM) and meet deadlines while maintaining creative consistency
- Flexible, nimble and comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes high-volume environment
