About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 🎯**
  • - Prepare all necessary documents to support the interior and structural modification of the aircraft such as detail, assembly and installation drawings, specification documents and substantiation reports.
  • - Coordinate with outside suppliers, internal departments and regulatory agencies regarding the design, installation, integration, and certification of new interior components to support floorplan modifications.
  • - Research specification for component selection. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure specifications are met.
  • - Support statement of work creation and bids for new customer requests.
  • - Assist service center personnel in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolution of build/modification and test issues and create deviation drawings as required.
  • - Work in a team environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • **YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS 💎**
  • - You will hold a Bachelor of Science Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with five (5) years relevant experience or will have a minimum of ten (10) years of practical mechanical design experience in aviation.
  • - You are proficient creating mechanical drawings using AutoCad or CATIA (preferred)
  • - You will have a working knowledge of applicable regulatory certification rules (FAA, EASA, TCCA).
  • - You will be proficient with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access)
  • - You must be a self-starter and able to handle multiple initiatives effectively.
  • - You must exhibit excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • - You should be an organized individual, able to work effectively with a variety of cross-functional individuals, departments and organizations with a general good attitude and disposition.
