About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Java Tech Lead (M/F) for our WMS product will be responsible for leading the major technological transformation of our team based in Troyes, as part of the development and evolution of our WMS solution.
- Successfully migrate the team's technology stack and ensure the secure construction of the new WMS product
- Ensure sustainable technical choices, aligned with the existing product and the group's strategy
- Raise the team's collective technical level and promote a culture of excellence
- Ensure the overall technical coherence of the product
- Deliver smooth, high-quality, and sustainable delivery
- Contribute to development by taking ownership of structurally important or highly complex technical topics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years' experience in software development, including significant experience as a Tech Lead
- Strong mastery of the Java ecosystem: Spring / Spring Boot; build ecosystems: Maven / Gradle
- Frontend technologies: Angular, VueJS, HTML5, CSS3
- Proficiency with relational databases and NoSQL
- Comfortable with production infrastructure: Tomcat, Docker, CI/CD
- Solid practice of Software Craftsmanship approaches: TDD, Clean Code, Domain-Driven Design, executable specifications (BDD), and functionally driven agile practices
- Good command of English
- Teaching ability, initiative, rigor, and leadership
- Knowledge of WinDev/PCSoft and logistics/WMS challenges is a plus
