About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Proactive telephone-based new customer acquisition in the B2B environment
  • Identification and contact of decision-makers
  • Scheduling and preparation of sales appointments
  • Building and developing your own customer portfolio
  • Developing new sales markets and industry verticals
  • Preparing and following up on proposals
  • Close collaboration with purchasing, product management and production

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You enjoy making phone calls and approach people with confidence
  • Cold calling does not put you off — on the contrary
  • Initial experience in sales, inside sales or business development
  • High self-motivation and a strong closing orientation
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Structured and independent working style
  • Confident user of Office applications and CRM systems
  • Good German skills, both written and spoken; English is an advantage
  • Experience in the promotional products, printing or packaging industry is a plus, but not required
