About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactive telephone-based new customer acquisition in the B2B environment
- Identification and contact of decision-makers
- Scheduling and preparation of sales appointments
- Building and developing your own customer portfolio
- Developing new sales markets and industry verticals
- Preparing and following up on proposals
- Close collaboration with purchasing, product management and production
- Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships with a focus on cross- and upselling
- Documenting and managing your sales activities in the CRM system
- Independently planning and implementing sales initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- You enjoy making phone calls and approach people with confidence
- Cold calling does not put you off — on the contrary
- Initial experience in sales, inside sales or business development
- High self-motivation and a strong closing orientation
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Structured and independent working style
- Confident user of Office applications and CRM systems
- Good German skills, both written and spoken; English is an advantage
- Experience in the promotional products, printing or packaging industry is a plus, but not required
