About the role
- Lead development and implementation of software solutions using Node.js, Express, TypeScript, and React
- Assist in coordination and prioritization to ensure the team focuses on highest-value goals
- Mentor, motivate, and manage performance, development, and standards of engineers
- Support team ceremonies and foster strong working relationships with peers
- Maintain a sustainable pace of delivery and ensure production stability
- Hands-on coding: develop and maintain a high-quality, stable, and maintainable codebase
- Deliver projects on schedule and participate in deploying, running, and monitoring applications in production
- Work for a gaming client focused on responsible gaming, player protection, fraud prevention, and a range of Lucky, Casino, and Betting games
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in full-stack software development
- Expertise in Node.js and React
- Prior experience in a leadership role within a development team
- Ownership of applications end-to-end, including specification, coding, deployment, and monitoring
- Ability to align technical decisions with business goals
- Ability to make informed decisions quickly considering technical constraints and priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and lead adoption of new technologies and best practices
- Experience with Node.js, Express, TypeScript, and React
- Experience with AWS services (advantage)
