About the role
- We are looking for a talented Lead Cloud Architect to join projects led by the Cloud Service Unit.
- Your role combines hands-on developer background with architectural knowledge, you will design microservices, implement CI/CD, build Infrastructure as Code, and mentor development teams in cloud best practices.
- You will work closely with cloud and data engineers as well as business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performance data ecosystems, while also supporting delivery and presales activities as a trusted technical advisor.
- As a Lead Cloud Architect (Cloud Native), you will be an architect of application transformation, you will guide clients through the process of modernizing legacy systems to cloud-native solutions and design modern applications from scratch that leverage the full capabilities of cloud platforms.
Requirements
- Cloud-native development: Minimum 7 years of experience in building cloud-native applications, with particular emphasis on .NET/Azure stack
- Modernization expertise: Documented experience in modernizing legacy applications to cloud-native architecture (lift-and-shift, refactoring, re-architecting, containerization)
- Cloud proficiency: Deep knowledge of Azure and other clouds - AWS, GCP
- DevOps & automation: Practical experience in building CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates), monitoring and observability. Knowledge of other cloud-native technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, service mesh (ex. Istio, Linkerd)
- Architectural design: Designing microservices, event-driven architecture, distributed systems patterns, security by design. Experience with multiple cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) in the context of cloud-native development
- Technical leadership: Experience in consulting and training technical teams, code reviews, establishing coding and architecture standards
- Client collaboration: Ability to conduct technical workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions
