About the role

  • Level: Intern; Position Type: Part Time; Hours: 15–25 hours per week; Compensation: $20/hr; Location: NYC — hybrid office/WFH model, minimum 3 days/wk in office; Reports to: Brand Marketing Manager
  • Support community building and day-to-day marketing operations
  • Maintain communication and restocks with core influencers, brand friends, and partners
  • Build new gifting lists for launches and seasonal moments
  • Generate all outbound gifting requests and track inbound responses using templated outreach and follow-ups
  • Track shipments, received posts, usage rights, and other key information in master database
  • Work within ShopMy to expand creator and affiliate reach and ensure monthly deliverables are met
  • Assist the part-time office manager with influencer and partner packouts
  • Help organize and execute bespoke launch mailers, sourcing components, assembling kits, and preparing labels and inserts
  • Partner with CX to identify brand-relevant inbounds and draft responses aligned with brand voice and FAQs
  • Monitor comments and DMs for UGC opportunities, product feedback, and trends worth testing in content
  • Own staging and posting of social content on agreed channels and calendars in coordination with copy and design
  • Save, tag, and store UGC in the content library with creator handles, rights status, and themes for reuse
  • Support the broader team with ad hoc tasks across design, copy, and growth
  • Help prepare simple reports, decks, or recaps for launches, mailers, and partnerships

Requirements

  • Working toward a degree in marketing, communications, design, or a related field. Prior beauty experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of social platforms and creator culture, with an instinct for what feels on-brand
  • Excellent organization and follow-through, comfort in Google Workspace, and familiarity with project management tools and Slack
  • Clear written communication and a collaborative, can-help attitude
  • Light content skills such as shooting on phone, basic editing in CapCut or Adobe Express, and simple photo retouching
  • Experience with Airtable or Google Sheets for tracking and reporting
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, Figma, and ShopMy or other affiliate platforms
