About the role

  • Structuring Strategic Dashboards: Develop dashboards in Power BI or Looker Studio to meet specific data processing needs;
  • Data Warehouse Management (BigQuery): Organize, clean, and model tables within BigQuery to ensure data is ready for consumption;
  • Ingestion and Processing of External Data: Build pipelines to import, clean, and validate data from various files (CSV, spreadsheets), ensuring integrity when integrating into the central database;
  • Exploratory Analysis: Investigate datasets to find patterns and insights that support the GovTech strategy;
  • Support in Defining Processes: Actively contribute to building the team’s data culture by helping define naming conventions, folder organization, and update rituals;
  • Digital mindset, curiosity about new technologies, and interest in understanding how Artificial Intelligence can transform processes, experiences, and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL: Ability to perform complex queries, filters, aggregations, and table manipulation in BigQuery;
  • Visualization Tools: Intermediate/advanced skills in Power BI or Looker Studio;
  • File Handling: Technical ability to parse and clean data from files (Excel/CSV), ensuring that "garbage" does not enter the database;
  • Knowledge of Data Transformation Processes (ETL): Basic understanding of Extract, Transform, Load processes (via SQL, Python, or GCP ingestion tools);
  • Knowledge or interest in Artificial Intelligence technologies: tools, applications, and concepts.
  • Differentials:
  • Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or related fields;
  • Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Cloud Digital Leader or Data Engineer Associate);
  • Courses in Advanced Power BI or data modeling (Star Schema/Snowflake).
