About the role
- Support the identification of opportunities to improve and evolve infrastructure, contributing technical suggestions.
- Implement and maintain automation to reduce repetitive operational tasks.
- Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to provision and maintain environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to meet performance, resilience, and scalability requirements.
- Participate in incident analysis and collaborate on creating blameless postmortems.
- Help promote reliability and operational best practices across teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, Crossplane, Pulumi, or similar.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and container-based environments.
- Experience operating cloud environments and working with high-availability concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one automation or scripting language such as Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, Datadog, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI, ArgoCD, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of SLIs, SLOs, and basic postmortem practices.
