About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer and maintain infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt.
Manage projects, IAM, networking, VPCs and resources on GCP.
Administer Kubernetes clusters (GKE) and Docker containers.
Manage deployments using Helm.
Design, implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
Configure runners and automate deployment processes.
Manage Artifact Registry and perform database migrations with Atlas.
Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Cloud Trace, Grafana and Prometheus.
Ensure the security, availability and performance of the infrastructure.
Optimize cloud costs.
Collaborate with development teams on continuous integration and deployment processes.
Participate in initiatives related to microservices architectures and serverless environments.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Approximately 5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or similar cloud infrastructure roles.
Strong experience administering Linux environments.
Advanced experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proficiency with Terraform and Terragrunt.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE) and Helm.
Experience implementing GitLab CI/CD.
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Scripting experience with Bash.
Experience with Atlas for database management and migrations.
Experience managing Artifact Registry.
Knowledge of observability, monitoring and troubleshooting.
Experience implementing security best practices in GCP.
Knowledge of microservices and serverless architectures.
Experience in cloud cost optimization.
Preferred: prior experience with AWS.
Experience with migration strategies between cloud providers.
Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields (not required).
