About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You design and develop applications and services that run on modern platforms — whether as desktop apps, web services, or in scalable cloud environments.
- You actively contribute to the further development of our architecture standards (e.g., API design, CI/CD pipelines, security best practices).
- As an experienced member of our team with solid knowledge of software and applications, you are able to drive our projects forward.
- As a seasoned member of the development team, you take responsibility for your tasks and backlog items, work in a structured, quality-oriented manner, and remain attentive to the progress and development of your colleagues.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You hold a degree in Computer Science, Medical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- You have several years of experience in software development — ideally in the medical technology sector.
- With practical experience in REST APIs, microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), modern authentication methods such as OAuth2/OpenID Connect, and other cloud-native approaches, you will support our team in developing scalable, future-proof solutions.
- You are proficient in at least one of the programming languages C++ or C#.NET, and are able to work with the other as well.
- You are experienced with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (DevOps).
- You are an integral part of the team whom you support through an independent, responsible working style.
- You have very good German skills (at least C1 level) as well as very good knowledge of English.
