About the role

  • Design and implement **scalable and sustainable software architectures**
  • Provide technical leadership for complex projects using **PHP, Symfony, and Doctrine**
  • Proactively identify **improvement opportunities** in the codebase
  • Define and evolve **development standards and best practices**
  • Conduct **code reviews** focused on quality, performance, and maintainability
  • **Mentor junior and mid-level developers**, promoting technical growth

Requirements

  • Strong experience with **PHP 8+** and the modern PHP ecosystem
  • Proficiency with the **Symfony framework (5.x or 6.x)**
  • Proven experience in **software architecture** (DDD, CQRS, Event-Driven, Microservices, Hexagonal Architecture)
  • Advanced knowledge of **design patterns** and **SOLID** principles
  • Experience developing **RESTful APIs**
  • Experience with **relational databases** (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and optimization strategies
  • Familiarity with **Docker** and containerized environments
  • Strong command of **Git** and versioning best practices
  • Hands-on experience with **Domain-Driven Design (DDD)** (a plus)
  • Experience with **messaging** (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.) (a plus)
  • Knowledge of **CI/CD and DevOps practices** (a plus)
  • Experience with **automated testing** (PHPUnit, Behat) (a plus)
  • Familiarity with **Redis or other caching/search solutions** (a plus)
