About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Angular and related frontend technologies
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established standards
Implement user interface designs and product requirements under senior developer guidance
Troubleshoot frontend bugs and user interface issues across browsers and devices
Apply frontend best practices, coding standards, and accessibility principles
Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback
Create and test WalkMe content to improve product usability and adoption
Collaborate with Front-End Developers, Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, and cross-functional teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
Communicate project progress, questions, and blockers
Support testing, deployment, and release activities
Develop and maintain unit tests for frontend components
Validate functionality, identify defects, and resolve frontend issues
Support production issue investigation and resolution
Expand knowledge of Angular, frontend architecture, and modern web development practices
Contribute to workflow, code quality, and user experience improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Basic proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Familiarity with Angular or another modern frontend framework such as React or Vue
Understanding of responsive web design and accessibility best practices
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and learn new technologies quickly
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate within cross-functional Agile teams
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Up to two years of frontend development experience through internships, co-ops, academic projects, bootcamps, personal projects, or professional experience
Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Familiarity with REST APIs, component-based architecture, and Agile development methodologies preferred
Portfolio, GitHub repository, or other frontend development examples preferred
Must reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Delaware, Colorado, South Dakota, Texas, Wyoming, Alaska, or Florida to be a W2 employee
