About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Angular and related frontend technologies
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established standards
- Implement user interface designs and product requirements under senior developer guidance
- Troubleshoot frontend bugs and user interface issues across browsers and devices
- Apply frontend best practices, coding standards, and accessibility principles
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback
- Create and test WalkMe content to improve product usability and adoption
- Collaborate with Front-End Developers, Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, and cross-functional teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Communicate project progress, questions, and blockers
- Support testing, deployment, and release activities
- Develop and maintain unit tests for frontend components
- Validate functionality, identify defects, and resolve frontend issues
- Support production issue investigation and resolution
- Expand knowledge of Angular, frontend architecture, and modern web development practices
- Contribute to workflow, code quality, and user experience improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Basic proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Familiarity with Angular or another modern frontend framework such as React or Vue
- Understanding of responsive web design and accessibility best practices
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and learn new technologies quickly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate within cross-functional Agile teams
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Up to two years of frontend development experience through internships, co-ops, academic projects, bootcamps, personal projects, or professional experience
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Familiarity with REST APIs, component-based architecture, and Agile development methodologies preferred
- Portfolio, GitHub repository, or other frontend development examples preferred
- Must reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Delaware, Colorado, South Dakota, Texas, Wyoming, Alaska, or Florida to be a W2 employee
