Providing Pre-Sales Support to the sales organization and our customers
Possess a high degree of VMware portfolio knowledge, understanding how to position the value of VMWare solutions
Have knowledge of VMWare pricing programs/buying vehicles, pricing policies and procedures, product promotions and deal registrations
Pipeline management activities and ability to manage, track and forecast sales opportunity pipeline
Analyze sales participation and proactively suggest opportunities for improvement
Maintain up-to-date VMWare sales and technical certifications and attend VMWare, Hybrid Cloud and Softchoice meetings, trainings, and events where required
Ownership of the VMW Orphaned Renewals Program
Work closely with Broadcom Sales, Softchoice Sales and Distribution to maximize scale without disruption to day-to-day process
Develop weekly and monthly program reporting to Sr. Leadership
Manage continuous performance of all direct reports and provide specific and timely coaching
Foster professional growth and expertise for the team
Oversee and manage the hiring process of new team members and provide an excellent onboarding experience
Act as an SME for team processes and best practices and help to develop them
Requirements
A minimum of 7 years direct sales or pre-sales experience in the technology industry with strong focus on virtualization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent presentation skills and previous experience presenting to large groups
A University degree or College Diploma preferred
Will travel as needed for customer and/or internal meetings up to 25%
Experience working with a technology reseller preferred
Technical Certifications for VMWare strongly preferred
