About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop a strategic plan for each account
  • Stay informed about changes in clients' industries, executive objectives, and the competitive landscape
  • Build strong relationships with senior executives at current and prospective Softchoice clients
  • Leverage Salesforce and Softchoice's sales methodology to consistently and effectively manage accounts, opportunities, and sales forecasts
  • Use industry best practices and Softchoice expertise to identify client problems and assemble the resources necessary to develop solutions involving software, hardware, and services
  • Maintain strategic alignment with local manufacturers and channel partners
  • Stay current on market and product developments and attend product training as required
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal stakeholders and subject-matter resources as needed to meet client business objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment
  • Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in the IT sector is an asset
  • Experience interpreting annual reports, data and financial forecasts
  • Strong business acumen and experience managing a pipeline of prospective clients
  • Good understanding of solution selling and creating value for customers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong listening skills, confident presentation abilities, and the ability to explain complex solutions in plain language
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and consistently develop outstanding relationships
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent
