Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Motion's Executive, Finance, and Operational Leadership by contributing to financial analyses
  • Assists with the identification of operational improvement opportunities
  • Collect, manage, analyze, and disseminate financial information and analyses
  • Design and implement financial models and key performance indicator reports
  • Analyze profit & loss statements and monitor performance
  • Perform trend and sensitivity analysis
  • Participate in financial discussions with business leaders
  • Serve as a business partner with various leaders
  • Identify and drive process improvements
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and modeling tools
  • Assist in the creation of executive presentations
  • Lead and participate in ad hoc projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics from an accredited institution
  • Zero (0) to two (2) years of related experience in Finance, Accounting or Business Analysis/Planning
  • Experience with data modeling, analysis, and data visualization/business intelligence tools
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel to include VBA, pivot tables and complex formulas
  • Displays project management ability to coordinate tasks, timelines, and resources
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify and communicate solutions to complex business opportunities in a time-critical environment
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
