About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Motion's Executive, Finance, and Operational Leadership by contributing to financial analyses
- Assists with the identification of operational improvement opportunities
- Collect, manage, analyze, and disseminate financial information and analyses
- Design and implement financial models and key performance indicator reports
- Analyze profit & loss statements and monitor performance
- Perform trend and sensitivity analysis
- Participate in financial discussions with business leaders
- Serve as a business partner with various leaders
- Identify and drive process improvements
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and modeling tools
- Assist in the creation of executive presentations
- Lead and participate in ad hoc projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics from an accredited institution
- Zero (0) to two (2) years of related experience in Finance, Accounting or Business Analysis/Planning
- Experience with data modeling, analysis, and data visualization/business intelligence tools
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel to include VBA, pivot tables and complex formulas
- Displays project management ability to coordinate tasks, timelines, and resources
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify and communicate solutions to complex business opportunities in a time-critical environment
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented
