About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Implement the architectural and business functional vision for internal applications, platforms, and enterprise services
Design and implement processes, applications, and services for the Investment Technology domain based on business requirements
Collaborate with enterprise architecture, product, infrastructure, and security teams to align platform capabilities with enterprise goals
Build AWS cloud-based solutions using best practices and appropriate cloud services
Apply DevSecOps practices and mature CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, and Artifactory
Implement system integrations using established integration patterns, APIs, and data integration tools
Leverage industry-leading AI capabilities to streamline development and promote an AI-first approach across the team
Work within Agile teams using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), support automation and self-service engineering, mentor engineers, and foster a collaborative, high-performing global culture

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of professional full-stack software development experience with expert understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Deep expertise in object-oriented programming using Java
Proven hands-on experience building cloud-based solutions on AWS, including services like EKS, S3, Airflow, IAM, and Lambda
Experience with cloud database platforms such as Snowflake, Postgres, Athena, and SQL Server
Experience with industry-standard AI frameworks/tools (NLP models, vectorization/embedding, LangChain, Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI APIs) to build scalable intelligent applications (plus)
Advanced UI development using JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular
Strong proficiency in Agile development and CI/CD pipelines, with exposure to testing/automation tools (JUnit, Selenium, JMeter) and orchestration/scheduling services (UAC, Airflow, Autosys); experience with PowerShell, Python, and Kubectl is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
