About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- responsible for building or expanding book of business
- converting competitors' business and expanding assigned medium-sized accounts
- maintaining customer contact and managing customer expectations
- generating new leads by networking, cold calling, researching various directories
- interacting face-to-face with customers
- customizing quoting as per complex requirements
- delivering effective sales presentations
- assisting with on-site troubleshooting of customers' concerns
Requirements
What you’ll need- typically requires a bachelor's degree
- zero (0) to two (2) years of experience or an equivalent combination
- knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial products
- ability to influence customers while maintaining healthy relationships
- ability to use Microsoft Office
