Business Development Manager – Auto Care Sales

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develops and expands Auto Care program adoption leading to increased NAPA parts sales.
- Responsible for communicating and executing Auto Care strategic initiatives, new member enrollment, program adoption, and trainings.
- Presents, communicates, and sells Auto Care prospects on the value of joining the NAPA Auto Care program.
- Works closely with NAPA Auto Care HQ, providing feedback, ideas, and insights to drive program adoption.
- Hosts meetings in assigned territory to provide training to local sales team.
- Achieves territory quota on sales, new members, and co-branded projects.
- Provides customer service to all NAPA Auto Care centers in assigned territory.
- Executes weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales plans.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 -5 years of previous selling and account management experience.
- Must have a solid record of success developing new business, while still being able to maintain and grow existing business.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to travel within assigned territory.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrates the ability to understand and apply sales principles, techniques, and processes effectively.
- Communication and Customer Focus: Demonstrates the ability to identify, understand, and meet the needs of customers.
- Resilience and Adaptability: Demonstrates the ability to recover quickly from setbacks, maintain motivation, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Results Orientation & Financial Acumen: Demonstrates a strong drive to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of specifications, features, benefits, and differentiators of products and brands.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using CRM systems, inventory management software, and other sales tools.
